To honor this centennial year (2016) of the U.S. National Park Service, I've selected
my
favorite
images
of Glacier National Park taken in September of 2014. The mountains,
rivers, forests,
wildlife,
and
landscapes of
Glacier National Park are truly remarkable
and
epitomize some
of the beauty
found
here
on earth that deserves our protection
and
stewardship for all time.
I applaud the
determination and hard work of all
the visionaries
that worked for the creation
of the National Park system. Each one of us has a
responsibility
to care for and respectfully
enjoy these treasures of the earth. Glacier
National Park is
located in the northern Rocky
Mountains of Montana and southern
Alberta, Canada.
